Porsche 918 Spyder details emerge in leaked document

Rennteam.com forum member Rossi has posted what looks to be leaked details of the Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid. We know much of the information, but we're psyched to learn that it only comes in left-hand drive. Other surprises include the quick charger that reduces charge times about 30 minutes and the inclusion of Sail Mode, which decouples the transmission from the engine to conserve fuel.

There is layer upon layer of intricate detail in the movie Cars 2, the sequel to the successful 2006 Pixar release Cars. So much detail, in fact, that you might want to wait until the DVD comes out so that you can freeze the frames and pick out all of the subtle automotive styling cues that abound within. New Range Rover Sport in New York

The newly refreshed Range Rover Sport takes at bow at the New York Motor Show Land Rover are working hard to keep their main models up to date and fresh before an all new set of cars arrives in a couple of years. And the big news with the Range Rover Sport is really under the skin. Out goes the old supercharged 4.2 and the somewhat breathless 2.7 diesel, and in comes the brute of a 5.0 litre supercharged lump from Jaguar that has also gone in to the new Range Rover (and the LR4 – but not for the UK – why not?), and the terrific 3.0 litre diesel that also graces the Jaguar.
